Positive Births for All
Probably the worst thing that has happened in childbirth trends in the last 40 years is classifying births as good ones or bad ones.
These have been divided even more into hospital versus home, midwife versus doctor, medical versus natural. The present message to pregnant women is that there's no way a hospital, medical birth with a doctor could possibly be good. Yeeks. What a concept!
Absolutely every birthing woman can have a positive birth, and absolutely every coaching dad/other can be a huge part of such a birth. A positive birth experience does not mean a "perfect" birth or even the exact one you want or imagine. Instead, a positive birth is one that you can feel proud of.
In fact, feeling proud of birthing better is the story repeated again and again by thousands upon thousands of women and their exceptional coaching husbands/partners who have used Birthing Better with The Pink Kit Method®.
You might read this in disbelief. But that's the glass ceiling we want to break. With skills, women can focus on how they have managed, coped, behaved, and acted rather than on what "happened" to or around them. With skills, men can truly know how to help rather than just "be there."
Of course, there are millions of women who have had good births without knowing anything about how to birth better or without knowledge of or access to The Pink Kit. But, often, women don't know how they had a good birth. They may just feel they were lucky, had a quick birth, or made good guesses. Moreover, most women who have had a good birth can't teach other women how to have a good birth. In modern childbirth trends, there is not had a set of birthing and coaching skills that bridge individual differences and are valid for all births AND can lead to a positive birth every time.
There has to be more than that, or we are just left with that pesky old adage: "There is no way to know what your birth will be like, so there is nothing you can really do to prepare for it." What a hopeless belief, and one based on such little control and empowerment!
Fortunately, your Pink Kit skills change all that, not only for you, but for all expectant parents. With this method, you can focus on how you engage in your baby's birthing process rather than on achieving a particular type of birth. Presto—no more bad Birth Stories!
