No matter who you are or what your circumstances, you will give birth. This means ALL pregnant women join an exclusive group. You're in it or you're out.
We all share the same human body ... with slight variations. So it goes like this. Once you're pregnant you will give birth so prepare your pregnant body to become a birthing body. That's number 1.
Number 2 is simple. Your baby has to be born. He/she makes an effort to come out of your body. You will give birth. Your baby will be born. This forms a relationship. You can work with your baby's efforts to be born. This is empowering and it doesn't matter what is going around you. You and your baby can work together when you have the skills.

Look at it this way. Only women give birth. That doesn't mean women know how to give birth. When you're hungry you don't intuitively or instinctively know what foods are safe or poisonous. We have to learn. Hunger is as big an urge as giving birth.
All humans are animals but few of us would survive being dropped off in the back of the beyond unless we had skills.
A Birth Coach's role needs skills. We share the same human body which means there are skills based on that and help to prepare the pregnant body to be a birthing body. Women and men share the same body. It's easy to learn and fascinating.

What's the outcome?
Pregnancy is the time to learn how to meet childbirth with as many skills as possible. Although we hear women say 'I had a vaginal delivery or vaginal birth' in reality you're going to 'have' a baby. If you are upset that you're going to 'have' a Cesarean you need to switch your thinking. Your baby will come out of your body through a surgical birth but you're having a baby.
Your baby is the outcome not the type of birth.
